Drug Therapy Guidelines Updates July 2020

New drug therapy guidelines have been developed with the guidance of our Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee. These guidelines will be posted by August 1 and will be effective September 1. The following medications will require preauthorization:

  • Abraxane
  • Ergot Alkaloids*
  • Sitavig*
  • Tolsura*
  • Xiaflex*

  • HIV/AIDS Awareness Month - End the Epidemic
    December marks national HIV/AIDS Awareness Month. New York state’s End the Epidemic, a three-point plan, seeks to reduce new HIV infections annually from 3,000 to 750 and the rate at which persons diagnosed with HIV progress to AIDS by 50%.
