BlueCross BlueShield of Western New York presents, Emergency Room Diversion. As DSRIP and other delivery reform efforts push health systems and physicians to reduce avoidable admissions, this webinar provides information on two Emergency Room Diversion partners in Western New York. The program allows BlueCross BlueShield members requiring hospitalization to be diverted to these facilities for services that include fractures, wound care, infectious disease/IV antibiotics or care for a number of other chronic and debilitating conditions.

Anna Bojarczuk-Foy, a licensed Nursing Home Administrator with more than 40 years of operational long term care experience, is responsible for the admissions, physician relations, sales, marketing and public relations functions for the organization. As Administrator, Anna’s facility enjoyed nine consecutive years of deficiency-free NYS Department of Health surveys and was awarded the SHARP designation for safety by the Department of Labor and the American Health Care Association Gold Award, one of only two facilities ever having received this designation in NYS. Mrs. Bojarczuk-Foy holds a BS in Business Management and a MBA from the State University of New York at Buffalo and serves on the Executive Board of District 10, New York State Health Facilities Association (NYSHFA); Past President and Treasurer.
