Announcing a Provider First Webinar Series

The ProviderFirst Webinar Series is designed to inform you about new developments, clinical best practices, programs, and collaborations to improve patient care.

We encourage you and your staff to take advantage of this free educational opportunity.

Who Should Attend: Primary Care Providers, Specialty Physicians, Practice Administrators, Facility Case Managers, Discharge Planners, and Quality Managers.

Topic: Project TEACH is an innovative program funded by the New York State Office of Mental Health. The goal of the program is to strengthen and support the ability of pediatric primary care providers (PCPs) to integrate behavioral health into primary care settings for children, youth, and their families facing mild to moderate mental health conditions.

Announcing a Provider First Webinar Series

BlueCross BlueShield of Western New York is pleased to offer a new complimentary webinar series to help our network of health care providers stay on top of new developments, clinical best practices, and programs and collaborations to improve patient care. The first webinar topic will be Emergency Room Diversion.

Please note, the topics will be a mix of CME and non-CME events.

Date: Thursday, June 15

Time: 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.

Who Should Attend: Primary Care Providers, Specialty Physicians, Practice Administrators, Facility Case Managers, Discharge Planners, and Quality Managers.

Topic: As DSRIP and other delivery reform efforts push health systems and physicians to reduce avoidable admissions, this webinar provides information on an Emergency Room Diversion partnership with the area’s two largest skilled nursing facilities. The program allows BlueCross BlueShield members requiring hospitalization to be diverted to these facilities for services that include fractures, wound care, infectious disease/IV antibiotics or care for a number of other chronic and debilitating conditions.
