William was hired as a new college graduate sixteen years ago as a Developer on our IT team. He spent the next 12 years learning as much as he could in working on different teams and projects, he was able to work with various business areas and eventually became a team leader.
In 2010 he transferred to a new position as a Data Administrator, a new challenge for William, one in which he says he is still learning. When asked why he stays, William pointed out that it is like a big family. He knows people from the business and he enjoys seeing all of the familiar faces every day.
When talking about his team, he describes them as different. There are 15 people on the team and everyone has their own expertise, but they work in the background, contributing to the organization behind the scenes. When asked what inspires him at work, Will shared, “Many different things: working with teammates you know will always support you, and knowing that your manager is always supporting you. It’s a good feeling.”
